How about, instead of a 10 x 8 board, using the standard 8 x 8 board, and
replacing one bishop with the Archbishop, and replacing one knight with the
Chancellor. Then castling would work as before, and this variant would be more
easily adaptable by current engines. The only problem remaining would be a name
for this new variant. :-)
