Arasan doesn't have problems with the Sicilian generally, although there are
some lines its book is tuned not to play (for example, it will not play the
Accelerated Dragon as black). I think one thing that is particularly true for
the Siciilan is that there are lines that are good against human players
(because they give good practical attacking chances, and the opponent may make
mistakes) but are bad against other computers (because they have more exact
calculating skills and often, better "book" knowledge).

Maybe the problem is that you're out of book by move 7-8. There are a huge
number of Sicilian lines and "book" knowledge is important IMO.
