That's unfortunately an approach I cannot follow, because Gothmog is so dead slow that it can never hope to outsearch anyone on brute force depth. Instead I try to search narrow and deep trees, and hope that no relevant branches are pruned. I know that you don't believe in this approach, but with my awful programming skills there is simply no other way to do it. Tord
