only some automated tests. The UCI-engine was a bit slower on average.

You don't need Anti-CD software to run Shredder8.exe and Shredder8.eng in the
same GUI. Besides, I can't imagine there is any "Anti-CD" (crack) software
"available" for Shredder 8. It's brand new.

If you try to install the Shredder8.exe as UCI you will get an error since
Shredder 8 already exists.
So you have to first move the .eng file away.
Install Shredder8.exe as UCI and change the Name in the Shredder8.uci file.
After copying the Shredder8.eng back it should work.
