Rebel10 is much better looking because it is much more configurable. You can have different size chess boards and display of the programs fuctions. 2 new features that are quite excellent are the E.O.C. (Encyclopia of Chess) and the 'Anti GM' funtion. I suggest you go to, www.rebel.nl for more info, or read some of the reviews here at the computer chess resource center. Rebel10 still suffers from being a dos program, but will (hopefully in the middle of 1999), have a windows beta that can be downloaded by current Rebel owners. Fritz5.32 is about to come out. Check out its feature's described at, www.chessbase.com Now, I would have to give the slightest nod (maybe more than slightest), to Fritz as far as features and database capabilities are concerned. Also, I like windows playing programs (no dissapearing mouse!). But I have both (and more), and could not live without them all, as well as other chess software programs, as the, mrslug - the inkompetent chess software addict! Good luck on your choice!
