Shedder.eng and Shredder 8 UCI save the position in their shredder.plr file after solving it. However Shredder 8.eng does not use this information at all if you rerun the position. It just saves exactly the same information again in the shredder.plr file. It still needs about 2 minutes to solve the position. Shredder 8 UCI finds the solution almost instantly if you rerun the position. Maybe Shredder 8 CB-native does not use position learning at all. Michael
