The main tournaments at the moment don't require it. It would be nice though if
there was total consensus, right now you can play WCCC without an internal book,
but you can't play WBEC, etc.

Yes, Peter Berger also posted this link. I will test it as soon as I have my
null modem cable tomorrow night. (According to our system administrator it's a
totally outdated technology :-))
