Dear Chess Friends ! This week I am going to buy a laptop with the new AMD64 3200 prosessor. It comes with 512Mb DDR, 60G 7200 rpm HDD, DVD burner, etc. But I have a few concerns. How good is this prosessor for chess ? Also, does it make any sence to uprade it to 1Gb DDR ? It costs me an extra AUS$120. Do you think it is a smart decision to buy a laptop with 64-bit prosessor now ? By the way, I can have a laptop with Pentium 4 3.2 prosessor for the same money. So, would you go for AMD64 3200, or Pentium 4 3.2 ? I would be very happy to know your opinions. Best wishes Anatoli Sirota
