I am in the same boat as José. I have written and rewritten chess programs over and over because I got to a certain point and decided I didn't like where it was heading. I bet every chess programmer who has been at it for a while starts from scratch several times. Sometimes the thought of starting over from scratch again makes me not want to program at all. But don't worry, just wait a few weeks, or a few months, and you'll get excited about chess programming again :) And congratulations on your new daughter!
