Yes, I have created a new directory for CraftyEngines under Engines in ChessBase in Programs. And how could I change some stuff? For instance you must know I have no TB tables. I have also not a book yet. Is that ok for Crafty? Where is the learning file? - I must admit that something surprised me as a lay. At first I had created the CraftyEngines file. I thought to be clever and took a couple of files from my first install into Engines. But then after reading that I should create a seperate directory I re-unzipped the Crafty zip. But suddenly I saw that now Crafty was in still another directory under this CraftyEngines. Why is that? Where are now certain files I've seen in my original Engines directory and are no longer in the new Crafty directory. Man, this is a terrible task for my attention. ;) I guess that programmers only shake their heads because they cant remember the times when they also were unfamiliar with all this. Rolf
