Natural is in the eye of the beholder. My engine, "Zotron", has evolved into a teaching tool for me. Its eval contains no more than what I conciously consider at the board, which means it's dirt simple. If your intent is to build a world beating program, then by all means consider (for example) "advanced mobility calculations", but if you're building a toy for yourself, KISS and know why your creation is beating you :) Pat K.
