Hi, just wanted to mention another nasty source of problems: If you use a pawnhashtable to store the evaluation of the pawnstructure (pawns or pawns and kings) and the hashkey only depends on the position of pawns (and kings and enpassant(?) and castling-rights(?)) you have to make sure that the pawnevaluation depends on the same factors. I often wanted to add piece-dependend things to my pawnevaluation (e.g. is the passed pawn blocked?) which was wrong. Frank
