Hi there, tomorrow Schach Niggemann (Ruffian customers) and myself (Arena team members) will send to the customers the first update of Ruffian. See the messages: http://f22.parsimony.net/forum41668/messages/30536.htm We have two Ruffian updates: Ruffian 2.1.0 Ruffian 2.0.2 For Linux, MacOS and Windows! The Arena Team found 6 or 7 bugs in Ruffian and Per-Ola fixed this bugs in his newer versions. See the longer beta test results in Arena Support Forum. --- It seems that Ruffian 2.1.0 with program changes is not so strong as Ruffian 2.0.2 (Bugfix version only). At the moment I test a little bit the new versions and from time to time you can find the test results in the second Arena forum (Arena Event Forum). Arena Event Forum: http://f27.parsimony.net/forum67213/ Ruffian 2.1.0 losed clearly vs. Shredder 8.0 on two machines (with and without ponder, longer time controls ... 40 moves in 20 minutes). Ruffian 2.0.2 seems to be clearly stronger but let us wait of the final results. Have fun with Ruffian ... Best Frank
