Ruffian 2.0.0 was sold with Arena via Schach Niggemann.
This version included the engines Ruffian 2.0.0 and Ruffian Leiden.
Later after some poor performances by Ruffian 2.0.0 it was decided to issue an
engine patch. And later a newer version which had received little testing.
These versions 2.0.2 and 2.1 were then issued to owners of the Ruffian 2.0.0 CD,
in the form of a patch.

In the meantime prior to issuing the patch Lokasoft itself announced the release
of Ruffian 2, with the engines Ruffian 2.0.2 and Ruffian 2.1 plus a newer book.
The price was considerably lower than the price of Ruffian/Arena in part due to
shipping costs to North America. And also in part due to being available as a
download and with a customer loyalty price.

So I'm not so sure it isn't uncommon, we have two different products. Each with
a website listing what specifically was being sold.
