This version included the engines Ruffian 2.0.0 and Ruffian Leiden. Later after some poor performances by Ruffian 2.0.0 it was decided to issue an engine patch. And later a newer version which had received little testing. These versions 2.0.2 and 2.1 were then issued to owners of the Ruffian 2.0.0 CD, in the form of a patch. In the meantime prior to issuing the patch Lokasoft itself announced the release of Ruffian 2, with the engines Ruffian 2.0.2 and Ruffian 2.1 plus a newer book. The price was considerably lower than the price of Ruffian/Arena in part due to shipping costs to North America. And also in part due to being available as a download and with a customer loyalty price. So I'm not so sure it isn't uncommon, we have two different products.
