Anyway, >look under engine options and click the logging away. > >Regards, >Dieter I am sure that I have a lot of files of yace like Yace0180.log Yace0181.log I am also sure that I use Yace as an engine for chessbase Maybe I did not install it as an UCI engine under chessbase but yace learns from previous analysis under chessbase and seems always to use a similiar file and I do not remember that I did special step to enable log(it is possible that the way that I downloaded it to be used under chessbase was with enabling log). I rememeber that I gave yace to analyze for a long time and after a power failure I found logfiles in some similiar file so it clearly better for me than chessbase engines because chessbase engines are going to lose all the analysis that they did after a power failure.
