No, I haven't given up on my project or fallen off the face of the earth. I haven't posted in a few days because finally a problem slowed me down. A series of problems, actually - of the move generation kind. Been running lots of perft tests and tracking down bugs. I have most of them, I think, but there are still some lingering. Sooooo, what I'd like to do is put together a list of good, simple positions for testing various move generation quirks like castling, promotion, etc. Kind of like an epd test suite for perft. Can anyone recommend an easy way to mass-produce correct perft numbers for a list of positions? I can write the code for my program, but if I don't have something to compare it against, it's kind of pointless. I'll post the positions when I'm done in case someone's interested. Thanks! Andrew
