This is not all that different from our retail chess customer base: From January through September we communicate with men 95% of the time. From October through December (holiday season) 75% of our contacts are with women buying for their fathers, brothers, sons, nephews, uncles, or some other male in their lives. We do not have data defining the difference between regular chess and computer chess customers, but I would say that the computer aspect skews the results even more toward the male.
