For top programs, it will usually take 2-4 times longer to get the output for the next ply. For example, it will usually take 2-4 times longer to get the output from ply 11 than from ply 10. It all depends on which program you are using, whether the position is a complicated middlegame position, or a sparse endgame position, and things like that.
