>ICC management is paranoid in the extreme when it comes to what they >call "cheating." Well they might like to prevent people to login with computers as guest and match registered computer accounts. On FICS I run copy of Rebel and what I don't like is to have users run computer programs as guests and keep my program hooked to play the engine they prefer, just to show that the program they run is stronger. (Of course if they run on a recent pentium they easly win against my Celeron 1.3 Ghz even with a not so strong engine). I simply have no interest in computer matches and let the account open for (human) guests, but I have no way to prevent idiots to waste time with matches I don't like: you can't identify them with a rule, you cant +noplay them, they go out and in again and match you again until you accept only matches from registered people, and the guest that would like to play my engine, cannot any more.
