True enough, but I think the overall difference is a good number also. If Crafty gets a 60% boost on the Opteron, and Diep (and other non-bitboarders) get a comparable boost, then it doesn't really matter why the boost occured. Wouldn't it be a shame if bitboards _still_ broke even on 64-bit hardware? :) That's one thing I'm interested in finding out.
