It is quite a strange situation with my DF7 GUI. When I start it and try to change an engine, begin a new game, modify an openings book or just to close the program, it crashes. It happens about 20% of all cases. During the crash, there is enormous disk activity all the time. The program cant be closed from task manager, it can be closed only my pressing reset button or power off. Windows didnt restart or shut down. All other programs close, but crashed DF7 is still doing something. Windows do not crash, it works, but very slowly due a disk activity. System - compaq nx9010 Notebook, 2,8 GHz P4, 256 RAM, 40G HDD. Windows XP Home Edition. Maybe somebody had such a problem and know how to treat it?
