Yes.  I suspect that the engine would perform better if I tuned down
the aggressivity a bit, but at least for the moment I am more interested
in entertaining play than in results.

It is.  For me there is also another problem, which you hint at in your
first paragraph above:  My search and eval are rather intertwined, and they
need to be tuned to work well together.  Simply reducing the king safety
weights in my eval probably won't work well.  It is necessary to tune the
search to work well with the modified eval.

Yes, it would certainy be interesting, but unfortunately it is not possible.
I rarely have access to any Windows computers.
