Pepito.

Pepito was one of the programs instrumental in my learning how a chess program
works.  I don't know Carlos del Cacho but he is obviously someone with a sense
of humor and someone who doesn't take himself too seriously.  If you read
Spanish the source code of Pepito is worth reading for the humor even if you
have no interest in chess.  Comments like "very primitive but it's better than
nothing" abound.  One of the evaluation constants (overextended pawn penalty if
memory serves) is named DONDE_CREES_Q_VAS (and just where do you think you're
going).
