Most of my "improvements" are the exact reverse , and some of them do take some time before they are eliminated ... since in some special case (which will be what my test sets would be) , they would be pretty good ! While in search , some subtree will get refuted due to these buggy patterns (hence not even showing up in my pv lines ... thereby making it tougher to debug :( ). BTW , thanks for the book suggestion - still trying to get it here ..... still no sucess (Endgame Manual by Dvoretsky) . Mridul
