Vincent you are very good at making us believe that you know what you are
talking about. Congratulations.

But the simple truth is that you have no idea what you are talking about.

Part of the improvements in Chess Tiger from version 11.x (1997) and 15.x (2004)
come from forward pruning.

So not only your last sentence is wrong, but also the opposite is true.

Don't distort this and say that all the improvements in my program come from
better search, and that I do not improve my evaluation, OK? Thanks in advance.

"Of course" you do not know how to do forward pruning right. Okay. Everybody
knows it now. But please don't assume other programmers are as bad as you are in
this area.

Why are you trying to deter young programmers from trying interesting forward
pruning methods? I really hope they understand that most of your talk is
bullshit and that they'd better not believe you.

And please stop talking as if you were an expert at chess programming. Stop
talking about other people's work and about things you do not understand. Stop
trying to stand above Richard Lang or Ed Shröder by talking about their
"dubious" search methods. All you are doing is to insult those people and spread
your ignorance all around.
