I'm posting this because I hope everybody knows: In the "Fritz" or "Junior" interface, by ChessBase, when it is playing a game against an "engine" (like hiarcs6.eng), it sends a command to the engine to clear its hash tables before EVERY move. This could be serious, if the engine is one that retains information in the hash table between moves. Even "alt+tab" would be better than this. I am not arguing about the technical issues involved. I just think everyone should be aware of this. Don't you agree?
