I remember that Hsu wanted a match against kasparov so I believe that if he
wanted a match against Fritz he had no problem to do it.

The problem was that kasparov did not want to promise nothing to Hsu about
playing another match and in these conditions Hsu did not want to waste time and
money on the project.

Unfortunately Hsu was not interested in a match against another person or
against another chess program.
