Perhaps I would make a bad moderator, and I do not expect your vote, but I have not seen nearly the number of 'bad' post that you feel you have seen here. I tend to opt on the side of tolaration and/or moderation, in terms of what I consider to be an 'inappropriate' post in a newsgroup. As long as people are not calling other's obscene names, or being anti-semetic, or intentionally trying to muck up some else's reputation, I try not to get all 'worked up', about what ever the post is about, even if they are saying some program sucks, and the guy who say's otherwise is an idiot. (Well, the idiot part would get me thinking about the private email to the offending party before taking action). I'm sorry your leaving, and I hope you will reconsider, but otherwise, this is a newsgroup, a unique one yes, but nevertheless, a newsgroup. Everybody should lighten up. mrslug - the inkompetent chess software addict!
