You want to make this pay for use, I suggest you add that as a question in the next opinion poll and you will then get a clear view of how many people you would have left if that happens, if you do, then I will not be here, because I willnot pay to post here. I mean in is interesting and great to read and hear results and ideas for computer chess, but I would not pay for doing it. The computer chess recsource centre I have only read a few articles in there, though they are informative. Very few I have interest in, and even less I would pay to read. The links page you can get more links through gambitsoft and many other sites. I have never looked through the achives. Only the posting and reading the reports page, which are great, but if it came down to it, I would not pay to use, I would just not come here anymore. And I think many others would not either, thats why we should have it as an opinion poll question, then you can get a clear idea of how many people you would be left with. Moderation is the key. Maybe strick moderation, anything that is a personal insult and something which is not related to computer chess could be taken off from the posts. Personal opinions on computer chess issues are fine, but not full insults, Like CM6K is a toy because it lacks one feature, the same point could have been put across without the use of the word toy which makes it degrading. And this is the same for many other posts. Moderation is the key here, A point can be put across without throwing in a little insult to add to the point, that is what lowers this place. So just remove any offending posts one they have been noticed by a moderator.
