Hi Werner, I'm afraid PostModernist was one of those that benefitted. The way I do this is to use the -moves option on my xboard startup command. I'm afraid I don't know whether the option is the same for winboard. The -moves option tells xboard to feed your program all the moves from the beginning of the game up until the point when it was adjourned, when you attempt to restart a game. I hope this is helpful, Andrew >I am automated. >Still only have problems, when games "adjourned", and then start >again. Can anybody tell me, what ICC (Winboard) sends, when it restarts an old >position. I included the code for loading position, but that is not enough. >So now, if there is much time lag (as yesterday) I have to resign all games that >break up, to be fair.
