Hello Frank
I did post a message yesterday in your Support forum, but for some reason it
didnt work properly, when I checked this morning it was not there. It was about
1 page long and I didnt keep a copy. Please add +1 to your reply count as I did
post as requested. The gist of my message was that I would like the forum to
continue and thanked you and Martin and the other guys for your hard work.
I did mention though that you cant cajole people to post though if they dont
really want to. It would be better to try and make things more automated so that
you dont have to spend time administering the forum. Maybe make the password
automatic, remove the passwords all together, or make the two forums just one. I
would have thought once the hard work of setting up a forum is completed it
should not be that much work to leave it running ?

Yes I understood the position, you said you would delete any posts into the
forum except the poll thread, to my way of thinking that means the forum is
currently closed.
I will try and post there again after this message, but I not sure if it will
work correctly.

Did you mean the Arena Events forum ?

The events forum would have not really been the right place to ask, and the
other forum you would have deleted my post, so I asked here

I didnt say that, just the opposite, I thanked you for your hard work in my post
that went missing.
I hope if you do close the forum permanently that it will not effect the
Development of Arena. It is my favourite chess GUI, I hope it will not adversely
effect Martin's motivation to carry on working on it ?
