Hello Pedro >Here is working OK, did you configured as winboard engine? Thanks for the reply yes I did set it as Winboard and Auto too. Since my post I have discovered what is causing the problem, I was trying to play a tourny with a Nunn test file, if I just make it play normally it works fine. That was a bit surprising as Arena's Nunn tournament feature should just work fine using only the standard Winboard protocol commands in the Chess Engine. Maybe be a little bug somewhere in Merlin's Winboard protocol implementation. Regards Geoff
