A diversity of opinion is a good thing.  I also love all people, but if they
poop on my living room rug, I won't invite them back into my house.  Probably
never again, unless it was some strange medical condition that has been cured.
But having moderators with different ideas is likely to create a synergy because
more discussion will happen.  If everyone just instanly says "Can him!" (as I
might have) then some mitigating factor might be overlooked.  I think his
destructiveness is intended.  Perhaps my perception is wrong.  I doubt it,
though.

I echo your sentiments.  I also think you would be a responsible moderator.  The
kinder, gentler sort, perhaps.  There is always room for healthy discussion of
different opinions when the real intent is to find an optimal result.
