This is a topic that will presumably not die out in our lifetime. I think it is best to ignore it, unless you see it as a kind of chessic soap opera and you like that kind of thing to put your mind in neutral... One thing, perhaps: A few days ago, I was looking through my ChessBase Magazine videos. In the pre-match (!) press conference, a journalist asked Kasparov what would happen if he lost. "Then we have to play under more fairer conditions." (Laughter.) Kasparov is honest; in this case, more than he would care to be reminded of. Charley
