I guess it is just luck of the draw. Overall, I have to say I like CM9K GUI better. I have run some test games with the engine and it appears to be very close to CM9K, but that is a very unscientific opinion. The Best board setting I like in CM9K is the small 800 by 600 layout with just the board window and game status. The 2D small black and white metal board with the black and white figurines. That setup takes up less than 50% of my height and about of 60% of my width on my 1280x960 pixel screen with a 21" monitor.
