Some other points in this: 1) The tournament director must agree that the ending is "dead drawn". I'm not sure if he would have at the time we offered it, actually I'm quire sure he wouldn't, but I'm also quite sure he would have before we were at move 160 with <4 mins left on the clock. 2) If we had forfeited on time I would not have complained, although I obviously would not have been happy. 3) I consider it unethical to try to win the game by outblitzing a novice operator. 4) I would probably have done the same thing in their situation. -- GCP
