Subject: About the game Shredder-Movei and about hardware crash

Author: Uri Blass

Some notes about the game
1)I decided to play the same opening that movei played against Deep Sjeng and
could get an advantage.
I could guess that shredder could probably have something better but I decided
to play and see because as black I did not think that I have big chances for
equality in other lines(It is easier to get equality by white).

I decided to resign for the computer in hopeless position(of course I asked for
permission first)

operators are allowed to resign or to agree to a draw if they get a permission.

Movei lost but I believe that the opening book is not the only reason and at
least perfect play could draw against shredder after 5.h3(the position when
movei was out of book) but it is only a guess.

2)The hardware that did not crash at home crashed twice and I replaced to the
tournament hardware.

somebody told me that there was a network disconnection every time that the
hardware crashed but my computer was not connected to the internet so I do not
think this is possible.

I do not know what is the problem.
A person that came to help me with technical problems told me that I probably
need to replcae the hardware.

I have no idea what is the problem.
I suspect that the problem may be not in the computer but with another part
because I brought only the computer without screen and mouse so I asked the
person who helped me before I brought the computer if it is possible and he
believed that it is not possible that the reason can be another part as long as
the computer is not connected.

I will probably play with slower hardware of the tournament in the last rounds.
