I suppose it might depend on your install, I have the medium one which takes up about 40meg, maybe if you have the small one you might still require the disks to run it properly. I started CM6K 14 times, and then it asked for the disk, then it was another 12 games before it asked for this again. I do not know what your problem might be apart from the install you might have done.
