That's fine.  But one must bring up the inevitable observation of "been there,
done that, it sucked, nobody cared".  It died for a _reason_.


I have no objection to your resurrecting it.  But I would not expect
non-participants to care about it.  Also, you have to figure out how it is
going to be played when the powers that be can't figure out how to jam 11
rounds into a few days.  Are you going to further lengthen the event?  It seems
you must become a champion of automation as well, of which the ICGA simply have
no concept.  The very idea of automation and three rounds a day is simply
thousands of years into the some Buck Rodgers future as far as these folks are
concerned.
But consider this.  If there was a FICS on site, you could run the two events
simultaneously with at least two rounds per day for each event.  That would be
awsome and efficient.
What are the odds that we will ever see this?  Pretty long, I imagine.
