I certainly don't want to get caught up in a Hiarcs 6 debate, but i must say
that i'm amazed that it's in the top 3. I give it about 5th place. This stuff
about most human, in it's case is hogwash, unless that means it makes as many
losing blunders as humans. Any top 10 program is strong, so with Hiarcs 6 it's
especially about style. I personally think it's a losing style, however it's
good to have several engines in one interface for a second opinion, it;s much
easier to change engines, without having to export pgn or resetup a position, so
for that it's great. I personally would wait save up and go for hiarcs 7(even
though it's not an engine). Of course the hype anout it could be somewhat
faulty as in the case of Mchess 8 with it's dissapointing SSDF rating.
