I have tried FC2 and it ended very quickly in the trash bin.

Support for Firewire was so broken in the kernel they have used that it had to
be disabled! Bad luck, I have at least 2 Firewire peripherals (an external hard
disk and a CD writer).

Also, FC2 has messed the partition table on the computer I have installed it on,
and I could not boot Windows after that (on this computer I have 4 partitions,
one of them with Windows 98SE). This is a known bug in kernel 2.6! The error was
recoverable thanks to instructions I have found at the Fedora discussion list,
but I think it is unreasonable at this time to use the 2.6 kernel, at least for
this reason.

I'm not going to support some new Linux stuff just because it is Linux. If it
does not work, it should not be released. Kernel 2.6 is shit at this time, using
it is risky.
