By no means was I "slamming" Windows XP. It works, and for the most part is a
very solid OS.

Windows 95/98/ME were just horrible. The NT core is great, and with the release
of Windows 2000/XP Microsoft has gained some of my respect back. They are
finally listening to their users. It is getting more and more secure daily, but
usually at a cost (hense the connections flaw in SP2).

Windows is meant to be pretty, fast, and above all else easy to use. And it does
just that. If that is the goal of the Microsoft Windows Developement Team, then
they should get bonuses as it is doing _exactly_ what is it supposed to do.

I use Windows XP and I love it for what it is.. an operating system.
