  Count 5 with mine :)
  My opinion is: any language is good (I have no experience with c#) for
anything in a learning stage. Choose one, learn well about it, get experience in
chess programming and you'll be ready for the next step: optimization. If you're
a beginner, I'd recommend something easier like Visual Basic.
