And the word "different" above is an important one. If you know C, C++, C#, and Java, you don't really know 4 different languages, but 4 very similar and closely related languages. C, Haskell, Lisp, Prolog and Smalltalk would be a good combination. >The real art is to be versatile and decide which language to use when. Yes, although I personally find that projects which are not well suited for Common Lisp are usually of the kind which are not worth doing anyway. :-) As always, YMMV. Tord
