He meant chinese chess, which is as far as I know a very popular chess variant in china, korea etc. -> on the other hand you can also say that our chess is a variant of chinese chess, as far as I know chinese chess is way older. Pascal Tang told me in Graz that chinese chess is more complicate then standard chess, the engines do not yet get as deep as in standard. Greets, Thomas
