How long would you say we can have Opterons/Athlons 64 at say 4GHz (real)?
I suspect it will be quite a while.
But how long did it take from 300Mhz to 400Mhz PII or celerons?
That was 33.33% increase, and that is the same percentage increase I would like
to see these days. If we have 2.6Ghz Athlon 64 with a 33.3% increase we would
get 3.4GHz (real) wich would be very nice.
By the way I prefer AMD processors, I have one Athlon XP 2700+.
