Hi, I need a few beta testers for the new GNU Chess 5.0 to test it, even fix bugs or enhance, prior to widespread release. Please let me know if you are interested. We are more interested in computer chess programmers or strong players who also program, than in non-programmers or chess-players only. Programming in C would be helpful. Prior experience programming computer chess also helpful. Programmed in GNU C. Compiled under Windoze 95 MS-DOS and Sun Solaris, but should run on others. Unpaid, volunteers only. Beta testers will be cited based on their contribution in the distribution and in the release announcement. Thanks, Stuart
