I tried this form: 2q4p/1kp4p/1pbp2p1/p7/P1Q5/1P3NP1/2P3BP/2K5 w - - bm Qxc6+; id "YAZ.69"; And I can read it with epd2diag and epdview, but I get an EG fault when processing with crafty. I would suspect a crafty bug, but crafty manages the other 7700+ rows in my collection without a fuss. On the other hand, I don't see anything wrong with the position when just looking at it in a viewer. I know it's just one row, but it is starting to bug me a bit. Besides which, it is a fascinating combination -- one that I am quite sure *I* would have missed playing in a game.
