Now that I look at the Diagram, epd processing in Crafty is the *only* thing that is correct. The diagram certainly must be wrong because there is a black pawn on h8 !!! I feel silly for not having seen it sooner. So does anyone know the correct position? I think I can make a functional version of the test by just removing the pawn, but I really do want to get it right.
