The answer you will get >is.....YES can't you read? of course they use computers. but not for serious matches. there *is* a difference. and yes, i know they don't use them. i know IMs and GMs personally, and not only over playchess. they don't use them for serious play. there are some very few which do that, play over the net against machines; petr kiriakov (petrovich on ICC) for example. or dreev also did that already. but the vast majority doesn't do this. cheers martin
